Way overpriced for what it is
So I am absolutely obsessed with lip products and I tried A LOT. When i saw this i was so exited, because the packaging is beautiful and it’s La Mer of course. I do like the minty smell but it barely gives any hydration if you have dry lips. There is so many better options for the price on the market.

Love La Mer but this missed the mark
I’m obsessed with the La Mer however this product is just okay. It’s not worth the money. It’s not that it doesn’t do ANYTHING. It’s just so expensive and would not consider it a miracle product that explains the cost.

Worth every penny
It’s expensive but blows other lip balms out of the water. With other balms, even “expensive” ones, I need to reapply every 1-2 hours to keep my lips moisturized. With this one, I only need to apply it twice a day.
Biggest test: I put it on 20 mins before a 1.5 hour dental appointment where I got 2 fillings. When they were done my lips were still moisturized. Usually the dentist will either make me wipe off lip balm if it’s too sticky or slippery and they had no issues with this one. Or, my lip balms will be useless and my lips will be cracked and extremely dry while the dentist is working on my teeth. Not so with this one!!
it’s not sticky and goes well under lipstick too. I’m only halfway done my first one and I’ve used it daily for months. I bought another to gift to my sister.
