Broken stick

It matched my complexion nicely and easily spreads. I went back after my first purchase because the stick came in broken. I exchanged it for another, and that stick was broken too. I probably wouldn’t purchase it again for this reason. I expect more from the brand.

I did not like this whatsoever. It sits on top of skin and makes your face feel greasy and heavy. Breaks up throughout the day no matter the skincare prep and setting spray I use. Aged my face and made me break out!

I would say this foundation has light/medium coverage and a nice natural finish. It wears very comfortably on my dry skin compared to most other foundations which crack and flake on me. I've also never found such a good shade match. It is so hard to find light olive shades so much appreciation to Basma for their shade range! Best part is they're a Canadian brand!

Suggested Usage:
-Before applying, moisturize and prime skin based on skin type.

-To build coverage, re-apply foundation in desired areas and blend.

For textured skin:
-If applicable, apply stick directly on the face to spot-conceal any problem areas.
-Apply product on a dense foundation brush and stipple into the skin, including spot-concealed areas.
-Repeat as needed to build coverage.

-After applying, set foundation with your setting powder/spray of choice.
