i bought this along with the bestsellers set during the sephora sale, and i’m not mad at the purchase. does this hold everything my last toiletry bag did? no. do i mind bringing another pouch along for what is missing? also no. it isn’t the best, but it was worth it to get on sale.

My friend got this as a gift from RIES and she gifted it to me. I love to travel so this is great for keeping all of my stuff in. The elastic straps are perfectly sized, fitting my RIES bottles. The top pocket adds just enough space for small things such as makeup remover or q-tips. The color isn’t the most appealing but overall the bag is a great way for style and storage!

I was skeptical at first that this would hold all that I needed it to hold, but it really pulled through! I love the design and the side pockets inside that can keep smaller objects compartmentalized and stable when traveling. Complimentary from RIES. This is a beautiful color travel bag. It’s neutral and looks great with any luggage. I love the soft supple feel of the leather. It’s so nice to the touch. When you unzip it, there is a nice zipper compartment to store all your lipsticks and eyeliners as well as mascaras or long small make up items. There are five elastics inside to store your small travel items such as shampoo and conditioner. RIES sells cute hair care reusable bottles that match the color of the bag and twist with no leakage of my shampoo or conditioner. You can use these bottles as well for your leave in conditioners, hair oil, or anything liquid that you need to travel with. Then there’s a huge middle compartment that will fit so much makeup items. Overall just such a sleek travel bag that fits so much.

Quality design, may be small for enthusiasts
The design of this bag is quite nice, especially for preventing the chaotic situation of traveling, arriving at your destination, and discovering that all your toiletries are a jumbled up mess! The pockets are perfectly sized for most skincare items, and if you do choose to decant your own shampoo/conditioner/bodycare, the brand offers airless pumps made to fit perfectly. All zippers and handles are sturdy, which is exactly what you would hope for in a higher-priced bag. Since I was fortunate to received this gifted by Ries for testing, I put it through testing! I knocked my bag around with the items inside (see pictures), tossed it up into the air, and nothing broke nor moved around. It is a solid design, no doubts there.
I think the only real consideration I would add is that a part of me did think that the price point might offer a bit of a larger bag. If you're shopping for a "beauty enthusiast's travel bag", in all truth I would say this might be too small (saying this as someone with an exhaustive skincare routine lol). In short, it's not an MUA train case - but it is a great size for most folks, I would say.
Finally, I think this would make a wonderful gift. Most of my friends and family don't know what to get me in beauty. Yet I can confidently say: if I received this as a gift, I would find it very thoughtful for my love of beauty without being too risky. Glad to see such an easy-to-gift item at Sephora!
