Beautiful Formula, Awkward Bottle Design
I purchased the Nécessaire Body Wash Discovery Collection, and Hinoki has been my favorite ever since. The scent is light, fresh, clean, and irresistibly soft. The texture is thick and lathers beautifully with a sponge, rinsing off cleanly without leaving residue while keeping the skin feeling soft.
The bottle design, however, needs improvement. The matte finish easily looks dirty and reminds me of those old squeeze toys. After each squeeze, the bottle dents but doesn’t bounce back into shape. The good part is that water doesn’t get inside the bottle, but the downside is that it quickly ends up looking wrinkled and badly dented. For people who are particular about aesthetics, constantly looking at a misshapen bottle feels oddly irritating.
