Didn’t do anything
I have fine curly to wavy hair and this just made the drying process longer and didn’t straighten or do anything to it. I also stored it next to my dryer and at some point it got snagged on the cord and it bent the prongs out of place.

Takes the Dyson to the next level for curly hair
This attachment is amazing and far exceeded my expectations. I have ringlet-curly hair that gets frizzy, and have always had to flat iron my hair after blow drying to get it to look good. With this attachment, it’s easier and faster to dry my hair (compared to using the Dyson with a round brush), my hand doesn’t get sore from pulling on the brush, and somehow my hair looks good enough to not have to flat iron it.

If you have thick/coarse/frizzy/wavy/curly/aging hair, this is a game changer. This is the 1st time I feel like I was able to truly get to my scalp to smooth from root to tip. My hair is smooth but bouncy and has movement, unlike many times after blow drying having it look frizzy and dull. Also my hair dryer faster as well, I didn’t even get super sweaty while trying to dry my hair (IYKYK).I also bought the flyaway attachment but I haven’t even tried it yet because this attachment has already significantly reduced my flyaways already, particularly around the scalp (I’ll get around to trying that this week when I have more time in the morning, school teacher life).

Terrible High-Pitched Noise
At first I though there was something wrong with my new out-of-the box hair dryer since it emits a high-pitched ear-damaging sound even on the low setting. Then I read some reviews and saw You Tube video that illustrate that this is the expected sound. 15 minutes after having it on for 2 minutes and my ears still hurt. I do not recommend this product. And I can't belive that this is the best Dyson could produce for the cost.

huge time saver
I love this attachment. I normally use a round brush with a ceramic core with the supersonic if I want to blow dry my hair straight and wear it that way, I would still do that if you don’t plan on using a flat iron. However, if you normally blow dry your hair then iron it, this thing is a huge time saver. I just blow dried my 3a long thick hair from soaking wet to dry in less then 10 mins (normally that’s a 30-40 minute job). This totally dried my hair and kept the frizz to a minimum which is huge because that’s my biggest issue when blow drying my hair. My hair wasn’t perfectly straight after that (that’s why I would still use the round brush over this if I didn’t plan on using any iron after), it was still a lot straighter than normal. I used a flat iron after and my hair looked perfect.
