expired product twice

I bought this at the Burlington location. brought it home and when I put it on, under the vanilla scent I could smell crayons: it was expired. looked up the batch code and it expired in 2025. so I returned that one bought another online. Got it, tried it, it was expired again. Looked up the batch code again and its expiration date was even worse: 2024. Going to return this one as well. Super disappointed as I enjoy these balms and haven't had one in a while and now a bit paranoid. How much product on the shelves is expired at Sephora?

Quality not worth the price

I agree with the other reviews where the formulation is not hydrating. Many years ago I received a sample size and I remember really enjoying it. I liked how hydrating it was and that the colour was not overpowering. Now it just feels waxy on my lips and for $35 CAD it really isn't worth it. It works well over top vaseline or another lip balm but I shouldn't have to do that. I might just keep it because the colour looks great on my lips and it is excatly what I've been looking for after I few failed attempts with other lipstick brands.
