The only thing that works on inflamed skin

I had a sudden, unexplained skin flare up that was super inflamed and hot to touch (I may have lupus). I have a bunch of scaly dryness at the moment that has finally smoothed out and calmed down thanks, in part, to this moisturizer. Every other "sensitive skin"/rosacea product in my collection was irritating my skin (Avene, La Roche, Cera Ve, you name it I most likely tried it). I use this along with The Ordinary's squalene cleanser and rice lipid emulsion and they are the only products my skin can tolerate right now. It's extremely calming and hydrating without being thick and heavy. Yes, it is extremely expensive, but it works. I would recommend this to anyone experiencing skin inflammation (also take probiotics!!)

Unfortunately, this is one hundred canadien dollars and worth every one of them. As a girl with super dry dehydrated skin, living in Canada, where the weather seems to literally attack my skin in the winter, using this as a night cream has been a life saver. Tretinoin’s best friend!!!

Was going to grab FAB cream to help my poor skin when it started peeling and burning from my first few uses of prescription Tretinoin to not only heal my skin barrier but calm down the irritation and burning pain but an employee recommended this so I grabbed the mini size and I’ve been applying this several times a day and wow it works so well!!! It didn’t burn and doesn’t pill. I could see my peeling subsiding the next day. Love it! Can also be used on and around the eyelids and doesn’t sting my eyes. Now I use this instead of my regular moisturizer to sandwich my Tretinoin and couldn’t be happier. Great for the skin barrier and definitely calming for my sensitive skin. Not too thick but not a weak liquid. Will continue forever. Love the peptides and ceramides. Best of all, it doesn’t stink like some other fragrance free creams out there. My skin feels amazing thanks to this and Tretinoin together.

Stay away if you are prone to FA!

This moisturizer is like a buffet for malassezia yeast. I’ve used it for months because my topical acne prescriptions (clindamycin/benzoyl peroxide/tret) were really irritating and this did seem to help a little bit with the burning. However, over time I started to get fungal acne after an antibiotic course and this made it so much worse! I didn’t even realize it so I kept using it and my skin would just not improve. My first hint should’ve been the fact that this moisturizer literally just sits on your skin. It is incredibly too heavy and I would have to dilute it with a toner. Anyways, I out this on sezia.com and found out it has so many fungal acne triggering/feeding ingredients. As soon as I stopped using it my skin started to improve again. Such a shame because it is very expensive and now I have nothing to do with the rest of my bottle.

Sensitive Skin Holy Grail

The best barrier cream I have ever had! I have very sensitive, acne prone skin but this cream works wonders for me especially when my skin is irritated! Recommend to try if you have dry, sensitive, or irritated skin!

Absolute GOAT

As a very dry and sensitive skin girlie, I have spent more money on moisturizers than I ever care to admit. But this!! This is the ONE. She does it all. Thick and hydrating but blends in without a trace. Smooths my textured spots and gives the most nourished natural glow. Will buy again and again!

I bought this in summer when I was having extreme dry skin. I used it and within a few weeks, my skin had gotten back to normal. I have extremely sensitive and dry skin. I have excezma and dermatitis. This was helpful to bounce it back. I was then able to go back to cheaper foundations as it is quite expensive for me to use as everyday foundation.
