I would not recommend this to anyone. I followed the directions, but it left a thick, greasy coating on my skin that would not rinse off. My arm felt covered in a thick residue rather than moisturized. It also coated my shower floor with a slippery, vegetable-oil-like film, creating a safety hazard and leaving me with an extra cleaning job. The product felt messy, uncomfortable, and not worth it.

The Splash Salve was the first Hanni product that I have tried and let me tell you, I am obsessed! I have always hated putting lotion on after my shower, so it has been a game changer that I can moisturize in the shower. It does leave you feeling a little greasy, but I don't mind at all! The scent is also very refreshing.

I do feel that it left my skin moisturized but did not enjoy using this product. It didn’t melt at all despite my best efforts to rub it in. And instead stayed on my skin like a paste with all the residue just moving around as I tried to rub it in when the water didn’t do anything. I used it as instructed, and tried patting myself dry with my towel, and all that did was transfer the residue from my body to the towel. I had to immediately wash my tub after use because it somehow got everywhere (despite seemingly being glommed onto my skin). Overall not a good time with this product.

I thought this would be thicker with the name salve but it’s decent and moisturizes well. I usually like natural scents so I ignored the reviews but this is not a youthful fresh scent which is why I’m not a fan. i like the smell, not earthy and not sweet but somewhere in the middle. i’m typically super sensitive with oils and lotions on my body and this falls in a great spot of not greasy but leaves a little slick. so far- 5 months of use and i’m almost out of my first tub- no stretch marks on my bump or breasts and i haven’t used any other products really to help hydrate my skin.
however, my one downside with it is i took it on a trip and i think the tub got too warm and since then the smell and consistency has changed to a degree that i don’t love it. the smell has not necessarily turned rancid but adjacent tbh, and so has the actual texture of the oils. if you’re to keep this in the shower just make sure it doesn’t get hot!
