My new foundation!

After using Bare Minerals original loose powder foundation for over 20 years I am now using this. This gives me a nice soft glow and makes my skin look more youthful. It works best for me after my moisturizer dries completely. I swipe the stick 2-3 times on the back of my hand to warm it up and then pick it up with my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush. I start stippling at the center of my face and then outwards until I have applied it to my whole face. Then I blend in out in small circles. Looks so natural and pretty. I go back in and add a little more to conceal my dark spots using the same technique but with a smaller concealer brush, add some of the Multi-stick blush, and set with the setting powder. It lasts for hours and mid-day when I get some shine in my t-zone I use blotting paper and add a little of the finishing powder. It really is about figuring out what technique works for you. When I first tried it I was applying the stick straight to my face and realized I was using way too much. Give it a try!

I’m a first-time user of this product, and I must say, I’m quite disappointed. It doesn’t provide any hydration, and the foundation is incredibly dry. Even after moisturizing or applying a bit of spray, the product still appears dry on my skin.

I am obsessed with this complexion stick! One swipe of this product is enough to blur and blend my uneven skin tone (acne scarring, rosacea, etc.). As a young person with super sensitive and dry skin, I love how this product doesn’t dry my skin out over the course of the day and doesn’t irritate what is already going on with my skin (lol).
