I love the lipstick colour, shade and feel on my lips. The product does rub against the side of the bullet when twisting up and down (I hope mine doesn't break like many others). Funny flaw. And I wish the wear time was a touch longer, but even after the lipstick is gone, it leaves a light stain.
On me this is more of a sheer matte lightweight plum than a berry colour.

Yet another broken Merit lipstick
I don't know what it is with Merit lipsticks, but they break like no other brand. This one snapped off at the base on the third wear and now it's a mushy mess. I don't ever have this issue with other brands but I've now had multiple Merit lipsticks break, and I just can't bring myself to try them anymore. So disappointed. Doesn't matter how great the formula is (which it is lovely, sadly) if you can't use it more than a few times.

BEFORE YOU BUY, the lipstick will break
everyone raves about this brand and I decided to buy 3 products.....Ok, Merit Andie lipstick is soft, pink, and pretty. HOWEVER! This lipstick is EXTREMELY fragile and SOFT in texture. I tested this in store and the bullet broke off the base, I still bought this and after 5 uses, where I barely applied pressure to the bullet, it still broke off! The attached picture is where the product got stuck to the top of the tube and I had to scoop it all out and press it into the packaging. extremely disappointing in the quality and consistency of this product so much that i dont even want to exchange or return because this will just be a continuing issue.

I don’t think the lipstick is the problem but I do think the fact the bullet does not rest all the way down in the cylinder is the problem. When I took the lipstick out to use the tip of the lipstick was already clipped off in the tube.
