This is now my favorite spf along with Shiseido for a face, mineral sunscreen. It’s thin so it’s not heavy, spreads easily and works great under makeup. It’s not greasy feeling and makeup doesn’t slide around on top of it. I love that it doesn’t have fragrance and no niacinamide, which is irritating to my skin.

Pros > cons
Pros:
- SPF 50 (glad they upgraded from spf 30. Need that protection)
- mineral (I have eczema prone skin so mineral sunscreen is better for my skin)
- No white cast (Nice barely there tint that makes skin look smooth and just a bit brighter)
- Lightweight (it’s a little more thick than the old spf 30 formula, but overall still lightweight compared to other sunscreens)
- Not sticky
- No break out (good for sensitive skin)
- Good under makeup. Doesn’t pill. I actually don’t even use primer lol this sunscreen is a good base for makeup. Or at least the kind of makeup products I use.
Cons:
- a little grainy?? When I first used the new formula, I noticed that it felt grainy when spreading across my skin. Now I don’t really notice it so it’s fine. Just threw me off the first couple times of using.

Ruined something amazing
Absolutely horrible reformulation. I used to absolutely love this sunscreen and it WAS the only safe sunscreen I could use for my acne prone sensitive skin. It it’s now horribly shiny and pills as well as irritates my skin .

Yay for Summer Fridays!
The Summer Fridays SPF is formulated like a moisturizer. I love a tinted moisturizer and I love the glow this gives to my skin. I enjoy going for a no-makeup look so this is a great base product for that. It feels light weight and comfortable on my skin throughout the day.

Ruined a good thing
The reformulation has ruined this product. It used to be my favorite sunscreen but it is now thicker and oilier than it was, and leaves a white cast that takes much longer to rub in. It also pills my skincare, which was never an issue before. I don’t know why brands reformulate amazing products and wish they’d at least kept both versions. RIP to a previously amazing product.

White cast & allergic reaction.
Had hopes for this sunscreen but it didn't deliver. Left a white cast no matter how much I rubbed it in. Also gave me an allergic reaction This is day 3 & I still have the rashes all over my face and neck. Super disappointing.

Love it!! Probably not the best for oily/comb skin
I absolutely love this sunscreen! The formula is outstanding, and I really appreciate that the ingredients are clean. The mineral UV filters are fantastic, especially for someone like me whose eyes get extremely irritated by chemical sunscreens. This one is simply perfect.
The texture is incredibly lightweight and silky, and it leaves a beautiful, subtle glow without feeling heavy. If you have oily or combination skin, it might not be the best choice since the dewy finish could make your skin look oilier throughout the day. However, if you have normal or dry skin, I think it’s absolutely perfect.
What impressed me the most is how effortlessly it melts into the skin. As soon as you start blending it in, it almost seems to disappear, leaving your skin feeling comfortable, hydrated, and smooth. The formula is truly elegant—it’s one of those products that feels beautiful to apply and makes you look forward to using it every day
