This is my favorite out of the st tropez options. I have light medium skin with a yellow undertone and tan easily, but I stay out of the sun. The original looks ok, but a little unnatural on me. This is great if you turn golden brown in the sun naturally. if you turn golden

Not sure if I just got a bad one, but the tan came out of the bottle/ applied bright green. Not even the smallest hint of brown/ tan, just straight up green. Is that normal? I washed it off before it could develop ( was very streaky ) anyway)

This was gifted to me by StTropez. I love it, it was so smooth and such a nice glow. It smells amazing ! Foamy texture, easy applicable. I used a small brush and even tried it on my face as contour and came out perfect.

The white one last longer, but this is a quick tan I like to make this one with the white when they make for the perfect dark lasting tan

the pros: won't make you look orange, doesn't transfer too easily once it's dry, isn't streaky after it washes off. cons: strong self tan smell. not an issue, but they shouldn't claim it doesn't when it does. be prepared to wake up early and do this on a weekend, because although the end result doesn't look patchy, it goes on patchy. ESPECIALLY on the face. any healing acne scabs turn dark brown. you basically have to stay home for the whole 8 hours. and it's STICKY. and uncomfortable. other reviewers should remember the colour that goes on is only a guide colour so you can see what you're doing. it does not reflect what the tan will look like. it has a green tinge so it doesn't look orange in case you decide to go outside.

Used st tropez express tan for years, but wanted something darker. Gave this 3 diff chances, each time trying diff techniques as I figured maybe I just needed to tweak something. I let this dry for 3 HOURS, standing up, not touching anything, and then I used a hair dryer to make sure it was as dry as it could get. Then I went to sleep. Wash this off about 14 hours later and it looks just bad. It’s literally no darker than the express, but splotchy. I know it’s an overreaction but I’m literally mad about this. I’ve tried Walmart brands that are better than this.

My favorite brand of all time. I’ve been through 15+ bottles of the dark, the original, the express, the Purity (clear one with no guide color) and the face spray over the years. I always keep one of each in my cupboard because they’re great for different events. In a hurry? Express tan. Want the darkest? Dark mousse. Want to tan and walk out the door without the guide color on? Purity mousse. Want to tan when you’re at your palest? Original tan. This review is about the dark- yes it comes out green. Yes that is on purpose, it creates a natural olive color that looks so nice. Trust the process! I’m a freckled Irish/English person and the dark is what I use a month into summer when I finally have a hint of a base tan from all the time I spend at the pool. I use SPF daily and St Tropez allows me to have a tan without the skin damage. All of them are sticky while they dry but I find that within 3-5 minutes I’m good to go. I have literally never had a streaking issue with any of them. I do lotion my knees beforehand so that the tan doesn’t accumulate there. But other than that, I don’t take any precautions besides going slowly and deliberately. One reviewer mentioned bottles breaking. I’m not sure what they’re doing to their bottles but I have never had one break in 6+ years :) The blue St Tropez mitt sucks and won’t last more than three tans before tearing. I’d recommend buying a high quality reusable one.

First of all it just does not dry. So sticky forever! So you can forget about putting on clothes or doing anything until you shower. And when you shower about 95% washes off. Also pump stops working about half way through the bottle so can’t even get the product out. And it is so drying on your skin!

I have used this one and the classic mousse for years. I by far prefer this one over the classic. For everyone saying bottles are expired and green - no. I had a bottle sitting in my cabinet for years (went through a period of no self tanning) and it was perfectly fine when I finally used it. The green color is supposed to be there so you don’t look orange like other self tanners. It looks so much more natural on my fair skin (makes it more olive toned than golden). I will say the biggest con with this is the stickiness. I try to stand in front of a fan after applying but it still does feel sticky. I leave on 8 hours and just suffer through it because the color is so good. It gets you TAN but so natural. It also fades super well and not splotchy. Love love love.

St. Tropez always gives a non-streaky look no matter how terribly you apply it. It's fool proof! However, it isn't as dark as I would like. It also has a pretty potent self-tanner scent. Overall, it's good!
