[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I’m really enjoying the Dolce & Gabbana Rose dew lip bite. The packaging feels so luxurious and pretty, and the formula glides on smoothly without feeling sticky or heavy. It gives my lips a soft fresh rose tint with a healthy dewy finish that look natural. I love that it feels comfortable for everyday wear and adds just the right amount of color and shine. Highly recommended.

I ordered this in Dainty Mauve to wear on my wedding day. My lips flake/dry out easily when wearing 24 hour lip products, and I was drawn to this product for the hydration and vibrant color advertised. First, it is actually quite hydrating. I of course need to test wearing it for more than an hour, but I can feel the moisture it adds to my lips upon applying. I’m disappointed in the color, though. The dainty mauve in the listing looks bright/more pink, and on the back of my hand/lips, the color skews more brown/more similar to mauve. I know the color name is “Dainty Mauve”, but the photos appear more vibrant. I’m going to keep the product as I will get use out of it, but it’s not the color I need for my wedding day.

It’s hard to control application within the lip lines and it stains immediately on application. I was so afraid to move my lips around for fear of it smudging around my face. Formula felt decently moisturizing when it was on.

The texture is extremely thin and watery. With one layer, there’s barely any color payoff, but adding a second layer made the gloss drip into my mouth, leaving behind an unpleasant bitter taste and tingling sensation not only on the lips, but also inside the mouth. The formula stayed wet, thin, and watery the entire time, almost like wearing a wet lip mask that never sets. The shade Coral washes out lighter skin tones and makes you look even paler, while on light-medium skin it pulls yellow in an unflattering way. After applying a second layer, I couldn’t wait to remove it. Unfortunately, it was surprisingly difficult to take off — the bitter taste lingered on my lips, and I had to use makeup remover to fully get rid of it. The smell, texture, and color were all disappointing, which is a pity because the retro packaging is beautiful and has a nice weighted feel. Ironically, the actual application experience was pleasant — the gloss glides on smoothly, and the brush itself feels soft and comfortable on the lips.

I have been using the Gucci, the Tom Ford, and the Dolce,for a while and I think, Dolce made the best work with this lip stain category. Tom Ford has the most color all of it, Gucci has the sheer, and Dolce has the perfect balance between them.The smell is great, I love this product.The longavity I think is not as long as the Tom Ford or Gucci, but enough It lasts hours,in this categorí it is enough I think. I love it! The packaging is very elegant, very heavy and very luxuruous.

It’s very nice formula. Very comfortable, moisturizing and long lasting. But I don’t really like the colors. They are all too bright or bold. Not for someone who loves nude and natural look.
