Test immediately after purchasing!
Test any can of Root Boost that you buy immediately after purchasing to make sure that it will dispense properly. Twice in the last 12 months I have purchased defective cans that did not work. Unfortunately both were purchased during Sephora’s twice yearly sales events, which I use to stock up on products I use regularly, and I went to use them 2-3 months after purchase. Because this was outside the 30 day return policy Sephora would not refund or exchange the defective cans.

There’s better out there!!
I usually use the living proof heat protecter and I loved that one but I wanted to try this one since it was a bit less pricey! Unfortunately I’ve noticed way more tangles in my hair ever since I started to use this. Every time I spray it onto my hair it’ leaves a film like hairspray that then needs to be brushed out. After this I’ll be going back to my living proof leave in!
