I'm not sure if I received an older or outdated product, but this face cream did not work for me. It didn't leave my skin feeling refreshed the way other Estée products have in the past. On top of that, my skin became sensitive and I experienced breakouts on both cheeks, which is very unusual for me.
I always read the ingredient list before purchasing skincare products, and from what I could tell, there wasn't anything listed that would normally cause irritation for my skin. Because of that, I'm not sure what triggered the reaction.
Another concern was the scent. It seemed faded and didn't smell natural, which made me question the freshness of the product. Unfortunately, this was not a positive experience for me.

I use EL products and have for many years. This tore up my skin leaving it red, itchy and raw! The strong fragrance didn’t help. Why is fragrance necessary? Took me 13 days to get my skin back on track. Terrible, especially for the price. Returning.

Nice but not a must have
I love Estee Lauder products, they've been consistently good across the board for years.
This cream is new to me and after using it for 4 weeks, I will say that it's great, but not as good as the ANR Overnight Treatment cream. This is also heavily scented which does fade after a couple minutes, but can be a lot sometimes.
I did break out initially when I started using this, but then my skin chilled out.
This cream is rich and does leave my skin hydrated but I think the real test will be during the colder months when moisture in the air is non-existent. It'll be interesting to see if does truly keep my skin hydrated without an additional occlusive on top.
