Hair loss

I've been using this shampoo and conditioner line from Kérastase for almost a year and recently decided to give my hair a break from it and try something new. I love Kérastase through & through, their products have helped my damaged hair from bleach so much - however, this specific line has made me lose so much density in my hair. Clumps and clumps of hair falling out in the shower with every wash. Once I switched to a new shampoo line, my hair doesn't fall out anymore. This specific Kérastase line also makes my scalp dry and flaky, it is super itchy.

Honestly, this shampoo is not good at all, and I’m very disappointed. Since I started using it,I noticed more hair shedding than usual, my hair became very dry, and it breaks easily easily.. Since I started using it again, I noticed more hair shedding than usual, my hair became very dry, and it breaks easily. For me, this is now the worst shampoo I’ve tried, and I would not recommend it at all, especially for anyone dealing with hair loss or dryness.

HORRIBLE REACTION!

Gave me a rash around my hairline! This has never happened to me with any other shampoo, but after a few uses, I started developing dermatitis patches around my forehead line and now they’ve gotten worse and so itchy, discontinuing product immediately.

Irritated my scalp

Irritated my scalp. I started getting random red bumps on my scalp and it was always itchy and now I have dandruff. I’ve never experienced this with another shampoo. Idk if it’s too strong or if it’s the fragrance but my scalp hates it!

Left my hair so soft!!! But used it every other day because I do have fine hair and it got oiler quicker but I didn’t mind it I was my hair daily anyways.

Hair Loss

I really enjoyed this product at first, I loved the lather and how soft my hair felt. After using it about three or four times, I started to notice my hair was thinning. I have never had thinning hair, but something about my scalp didn't feel right. I stopped using this shampoo for a couple of weeks and went back to more clean options, and immediately felt a difference in my hair thickness. Unfortunately, now I have to use hair growth products and feel scared to use any other Kerastase product as this one was so damaging to begin with. Its a shame!
