AMAZING at first, then very disappointing

He has loved it and the about a week ago, he told be thought it smelled odd, and maybe it was his allergies. I finally smelled it my self today and WHOA!!! It smells like some industrial strength rubbing alcohol. I brought it into the light, it had turned from the pleasant MB green we all love, to some think akin to guacamole thats about a day or to old. As he is a male, he asked for it back because he loves it, but its not worth keeping around unless I feel swoon coming on and need some smelling salts. I am die hard for MB, but something went awry here.
