really easy and pretty
As I'm getting into my 30s and dealing with some sun damage, texture, and broken capillaries, I have been reworking my base makeup. I wear this over tinted sunscreen and it looks super natural and healthy, and covers my sun damage/redness really well. I wear it alone on casual days, but on days I want to do a full face I set it with powder before using blush and whatever else, and it looks as good as any foundation.
Definitely follow the directions! A pea sized amount applied with my fingers is plenty, and then I build up coverage in a few areas.
I got fair-light and for context in foundation I usually am fair/light neutral or cool neutral. in Maybelline fit me I switch between 112 and 115.

Like the description says, it has medium coverage and a dewy finish. I'm used to using a light coverage skin tint so this felt comparatively heavy, but I only needed a small amount to cover my whole face, so that's a plus. The shade range is very limited and I would have to mix at least two shades in order to match my skin tone. Ain't nobody got time for that. Lastly, it contains chemical sunscreens which I try to avoid (octinoxate is a potential/probable endocrine disruptor) so I wouldn't recommend it. I absolutely love the Dr. Jart tinted moisturizer!! It is lightweight but can also be buildable. I wear it everyday to work and love the way it makes my skin look and feel. It’s not cakey and it leaves my face feeling hydrated. It also worked great using it while at the beach because it’s so lightweight and doesn’t look or feel like I have a full face of makeup on and still provides the SPF protection.
