I've looked at the reviews for this product and I think somehow there are reviews for different product(s) mixed in here. Also, there is no way on earth this serum could be described as rough or gritty. This is my go to and I can't live without it. Other worldly smooth and absorbs deep into my skin. Leave me with a glow and it is fantastic under makeup, although I don't feel like I really need much on my face with this serum working its magic. Definitely reduces lines and I should know - I am 62. I see a huge improvement in the health of my skin. I hope Kiehl's never modifies or discontinues this product, I would be lost.

I like what is does to my skin - it makes it glow. However I wonder if the glow (blush) is due to irritation. I’m okay with the heat feeling but it also feels like sandpaper when I apply it to my face. It doesn’t feel that way on mu hand so i figure my face is too sensitive for it. However I really don’t have sensitive skin

Using it for years. Replenished for the fourth time now. It makes a big difference. Stopped using it for a few months and just started again. Face is glowing and complexion is just much better. One of the few staples I carry

I have light skin and this did nothing but turn my skin orange. I was not wearing any makeup at all and my husband said I looked tan. I wiped my face with a makeup cloth and you can see the orange/pink streaks from this lotion in the photo.

I liked the texture of this serum at first and that it feels so cream based. However it stings on my sensitive skin and broke me out within a few days.

Bought this from the suggestion of a Sephora employee and I have to say I'm disappointed. It has a sort of rough texture and every morning I put it on it kind of feels bad for a second. I also like myvitamin c serum to be less creamy and more like a serum. So I won't be purchasing this again

So I’ve been using this daily (in the AM) for about 3 months now and I absolutely LOVE this stuff. I’ve noticed a huge difference in my skin - brighter, fine lines have diminished and overall just a boost in my complexion. I pair it with the matching eye cream and VOILA. Best skin ever.

I actually received a few of these samples from the Keihl's store. When she gave me a sample on my hand and I rubbed it in, it felt really really great. so she gave me a few packets to sample so I have used it for the last few days, but I couldn't believe how oily it felt, it was smooth and nice at first.. When trying to wash it off my hands it literally was like an oily film that wouldn't come off. When I came here to read some of the reviews on the product because at first I thought I might buy it everyone talked about the main ingredient being a silicone Dimethicone and that made sense as to why it felt like a film on my hands and my face. The product doesn't actually sink into your skin, it just sits on top. It does make it feel super smooth at first but it leaves my skin tacky and actually it doesn't go away. Unfortunately I will not purchase it... I want a product that soaks into my skin regardless of the type of product, cream or serum. This product is more of a cream. Disappointing, considering the cost of it.

This smells DISGUSTING. Like a rusty nail, metallic. As others have mentioned it has a silicon base, so it feels very smooth, but just sits on top of your skin.

I have tried many Vic C serums and my skin likes this one the best. I love that it is in a pump so that it doesn’t oxidize and ruin the product. Also love that it contains hyaluronic acid. It has the consistency of a moisturizer and layers well under makeup!
