I do find this soothing to my scalp, and lighter than the scalp moisturizing cream I was using previously. I put it on after I wash my hair, and even though it goes on as a thick gel, It dries without any residue. Unfortunately, like all Kerastase products, the fragrance is insanely strong and artificial, but it does dissipate pretty quickly. If this were fragrance free, I would definitely repurchase, but I really try to stay away from artificial fragrances, so I'm not sure I'll get this one again.

Must Have for my Husband!
Got a mini size of this as a 100-point reward but didn’t really need it so passed it to my husband. Well that was a mistake, because he LOVED it and now I have to regularly purchase this pricey scalp serum that he can’t live without lol. I have tried to buy him a few cheaper ones but he never likes them as much as this one and it really helps to control his dandruff too!

I have very thin hair and itchy scalp. After my hair transplante I noticed that my scalp became unhealthy, very flaky and red. I saw this and I decided to give it a chance and WOW, this really works! this formula has a weird almost jelly-like consistency that it makes it hard to evenly distribute across your scalp. on the areas where i WAS able to apply it, there was no soothing or hydrating effect.
honestly my scalp and hair felt so much worse after using this product, not in an allergy way but in a crunchy, heavy, itchy way. i applied this on both towel dried and fully dried hair as a pre-shampoo treatment, but the results for both even after blow drying weren’t great. the fragrance was fairly strong so i don’t know if this would be safe for people sensitive skin either.
i’m so confused to see reviews praising how soft this made other people’s hair, im wondering if there was a formula change at some point.
the only potential benefit i could predict after using this limited use (1wk) with negative results is that it MIGHT help with grease control. i only say that because it made my hair dry as a hay bale, though. if that potential benefit outweighs the costs for you, then sure: buy this product. the only reason i picked it up was to see if i liked it better than the keristase resistance serum (which i actually recommend), and i didn’t. the resistance serum is way more soothing and helped to control hot spots on my scalp, plus the formula is super light and doesn’t weigh your hair down no matter the type of application. go buy that one instead!

surprisingly effective
We are getting into the dry months of winter, my scalp always suffers ! I've been using this for 2 weeks, I'm happy with what it's done for my scalp, I haven't had any itch or flaking. I would love to give this 5 stars for keeping the embarrassing winter dandruff at bay, but I absolutely can't stand the smell of it. it does fade away, I like to put this on my scalp before bed (I use their overnight hair serum on my ends as well), the smell does fade away through the night but it is a very heavy powdery/perfume smell that I personally don't find delightful, if heavy scents like that give you a headache be mindful of this.

The scent is a light perfume scent at first but once it dried I cant smell it anymore. I was dealing with an itchy scalp with salt like dandruff but after using this on my scalp it is no longer itchy and I dont feel any salt like dandruff anymore.
