Didn't like this
I didn't like this at all. I feel like it left my skin oily yet it didn't take off my makeup. I use makeup removing oils and balms on regular basis, so I'm not new at this. I bought a small tube as I thought it would be handy for travel, but I ended up tossing it at the end of my trip as it was not worth bringing home.

Cleanses gently
The Oat Cleansing Balm has quickly become one of my favorite first cleansers. It effortlessly melts away SPF and even heavy makeup without leaving my skin feeling stripped or tight. Instead, my skin feels clean, hydrated, and incredibly soft after every wash. I love how gentle it is, especially on days when my skin needs a little extra care. If you’re looking for a cleanser that removes everything while keeping your skin nourished, this one is definitely worth trying.

Give it another try
I’ve been seeing a lot of reviews saying that this leaves them feeling greasy and didn’t take off all their makeup, I don’t find that to be true at all. I warm up roughly a nickel sized amount between my hands before applying to my face. I don’t think some of y’all wash your face long enough. Work the product in, emulsify with a little water and rinse. I’ve used this for the last week and I have yet to feel greasy or felt like there was makeup left behind.

Not the best, made my skin red
Really wanted to like this, but unfortunately it’s not the best for sensitive skin. I still had to go a second round of clean up with micellar water because it didn’t remove all my makeup. As someone whose skin barrier gets messed up quite easily, this totally damaged it. My face feels super tight after 4 days of use and it has made my face super red and blotchy! 😭 I have very acne prone combination skin and the only makeup remover that I haven’t had any issues with is the pink bottle of micellar water. Sorry oat cleanser, but just wasn’t for me. Now to fix my skin barrier.

This works so well! I have been loving it as a face wash but not only that it removes my makeup so well. It’s good for my sensitive skin and doesn’t make me oily. I will definitely be repurchasing this!

Won’t be buying again. Oily residue.
Removed makeup but left a thick oily film on my face after rinsing which made me feel even dirtier. It comes off easily with a second cleanse with my Cetaphil cleanser, but I much prefer an oil to milk cleanser like the Cerave makeup removing balm.

Good for Sensitive Skin and Heavy Makeup
I was a fan of this cleanser before, but I am glad they worked on reformulating it. It still separates a little, but not nearly as much (or constantly!) I think minis (like the mini duo they often have) is the best way, so you can always be mixing it up and keeping that perfect creamy balm consistency that feels so, so good on the skin. That is really what makes this feel so lux. No need to scoop out of a container, you don't have to break it down, perfect consistency to wash your makeup off every time. I wear a full beat about twice a week, with heavy setting spray (I am a dancer, so I need to not sweat it off under the lights) and this cuts through gently! I still recommend double cleansing unless you have dry skin, it is a little greasy for my oily prone skin overnight. But at least it is super gentle for my sensitive skin!

Great for sensitive skin/eyes!
I’ve been using The Inkey List Oat Cleansing Balm for a few weeks now, and I’m honestly impressed! It melts away makeup and all the dirt from the day without leaving my skin feeling dry or tight. My skin feels soft and hydrated after every use. I also love that it’s gentle enough for my sensitive skin and doesn’t irritate my eyes. This has quickly become a staple in my skincare routine! *received in exchange for this post*
