Nice packaging, stubborn application
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved the packaging. It was so elegant. However I wish I had gotten a darker color for my complexion. This was too light for me to see a big difference on my skin. It was also a struggle to apply with a brush or with my finger. The product stayed on the brush and not much was left to put on the skin. I wish it was a different texture that was easier to apply onto skin and easier to blend. The shine is very subtle but it could also have been that it was the wrong color for my skin.

Incredible!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off! I didnt really realize how much of a putty texture that this would be when I first got it and that did make me nervous, but I actually love it! They are so blendable, melts into my skin and looks really great on my medium skin tone! The packaging is pretty deluxe and it doesnt seem to be scented or anything like that. I have pretty sensitive skin and this hasnt broken me out at all!

While the packaging is truly stunning, I wouldn’t
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tested the Carolina Herrera Nude Couture Highlighter in shade 02 Rose Hour. The first thing that caught my attention was the packaging, absolutely stunning. The pink leather with the embossed logo on top paired with the bold red base radiates pure luxury. Despite its elevated look, the compact is lightweight and easy to carry, and the built-in mirror is the perfect size for precise application.
The highlighter itself has a soft, subtle fragrance that isnt overpowering, which I appreciated. The rose shade gives a lovely sheen and reflects light beautifully. That said, I rated this product 3 stars for a few reasons:1. The formula and color arent groundbreaking. It performs like many other highlighters (even those at the drugstore level) so aside from the packaging, it doesnt feel unique. 2. The product is difficult to pick up with a brush, so I had to use my fingers, which felt inconvenient and a bit messy. 3. It didnt blend well over powder products. It works best when applied on top of cream formulas before setting with powder, which limits versatility.
