So I was a loyal user of the original formula. I bought it for years. I was disappointed that they discontinued it but I did buy this new formula…..once. Never again will I repurchase! It’s awful. Heavy scent and doesn’t come close to the hydrating properties of the original. Hard NO

Please bring back the previous formula (All Day Body Hydrator). It was lovely, absorbed into skin instantly, had a wonderful sheer scent, and actually did hydrate my dry skin all day. Why change a perfect product? This replacement does not even come close. I would not recommend. Please bring back the old version. Please!

Okay, I honestly loved the original, but... this one isn't bad.
PROS:
-from 93% to now 96% natural origin ingredients
-it's somehow even richer
-The scent is a bit nicer, it's more floral
CONS:
-THE PACKAGING!!!!!!! nobody asked for a square opaque jar with round opening. Ive cut my finger on these. The edge is just sharp and product get stuck in the covers. Bring back the old packaging and make the opening smoother. And the new design is ugly. Im thinking of scooping it into something else.
-The new one smells good, but it was nice having it less scented, so it didn't interfere with your personal scent preference or bother those with allergies.
-It feels like you need to use more; the old one spread much better and absorbed differently.
Overall- Sephora tried to fix something that wasn't broken.

I’ve used the SC body butter for years and have recommended it to soooo many people, but this new formulation is just awful. It doesn’t apply smoothly or absorb well. I feel like I have to use way more product to cover my body. And the shrink-flation is REAL!!
