This has been the only perfume oil I’ve used for the past five years, and I used to absolutely love it because the scent lasted for days. Sometimes I could still smell it on my clothes even after washing them. Unfortunately, the last bottle I purchased is very different. The fragrance now barely lasts a few hours. I still have a little left from my previous bottle and it performs completely differently. It honestly made me wonder if the formula changed or if I somehow received a diluted or counterfeit version.

This perfume deserves a warning label! The moment I sprayed it, I was hit with the overwhelming smell of straight-up dill pickle ! Literally smells like bad pickle juice. It made me nauseous within minutes.
I put a tiny bit on my wrists, and the stench will NOT come out. My clothes still reek after being washed (!) and worst of all, my bracelet , which I’ve worn every day for six years in honor of my late dad, somehow absorbed the smell. I actually had to take it off (for the first time ever). I’ve washed it several times, soaked it in different solutions, and it STILL smells like dill and I cant wear it . I’m devastated !
I honestly don’t know how this even got released or who in their right mind would like this perfume.

Gorgeous scent! I was looking for a scent that was similar to Le Labo’s Santal 33 but that worked better with my skin chemistry, since there is a leather note in S33 that turns very masculine on my skin. And here she is! I have finally found her. Bois de Balincourt has that alluring, woodsy sandalwood note that I am obsessed with, but leans more feminine in my opinion, and is much more well balanced. It is such a joy to get a whiff of it - almost like aromatherapy. I purchased the 15 ml and I am already thinking of getting a backup. Longevity and projection is surprisingly quite good - it will last at least 4 + hours on my skin, and much longer when it gets into my clothes. As a bonus, I’ve already received compliments on this one as well.

What happened to the staying power?
I LOVE this scent! It has become a signature for me. I’ve always gotten the mini size but it’s been out of stock for awhile so I splurged and got the 15ml rollerball. Same fragrance but with practically no staying power! What happened to the formula?
I used to still get whiffs of this after a long day of wearing but now after 15 minutes there’s literally nothing left.
