My favourite mask for fine bleached hair

I use this with the detox shampoo from the same line. I have fine hair with bleached ends, and it’s not too heavy. I apply it all over but go lighter on the scalp. I wash my hair twice a week and it doesn’t make my hair oily or weighed down. It’s my favourite mask. I usually avoid them because of how fine my roots are. It makes brushing after washing feel really silky.

No Lasting Moisture After Rinsing

Unfortunately, I didn’t notice any results. My hair only felt moisturized while the mask was on, but once I rinsed it out, the moisture was gone. Since my hair is quite dry at the moment, I expected more. It might work for others, but it didn’t do much for me.

Not for me

I am a fan of Living Proof and was excited to try the Moisture Rescue mask. The texture is rich, yet lightweight and a little goes a long way. It also smells so good. While applying it, I had high hopes. It felt soft and silky. However, when I dried my hair it felt dry and frizzy. I have wavy hair with oily roots with slightly dry ends. The claim of soft, smooth hair that lasts through up to 3 washes, didn’t hold up for me. It didn’t look or feel like I used a mask at all.

As someone with dry, damaged hair, this hair mask treatment works fantastically to add moisture back to dry hair. Rich and creamy, but very easy to apply throughout the hair.
