Glossier please don’t ever discontinue this cleansing balm or change the formula . I’m ngl the texture feels a little weird but after rubbing it on my face it turns into an oil texture like other cleansing balms. Just make sure you’re using it correctly. I first rub it on my hands and then rub it on my dry face for 30 secs and then I rub it with water for 30 secs and I rinse it off. It effectively removes my sunscreen + makeup. I also appreciate the ingredients. I have acne prone sensitive skin and It was hard to find a balm that was acne safe. I also like the packaging it’s convenient.

Don't buy
It melts the moment it's out of the tube and by the time your hands reach your face it's gone. On the first try I used a quarter of the tube which only removed half of my make up and leaved a greasy residue.

I’m not sure why all the negative reviews. This works as promised for me, it did not leave any residues. It did a decent job removing my makeup, the texture is definitely thicker than other cleansing balm but I got no issues washing it off with water. it’s a cleansing balm, it’s supposed to remove your makeup on dry skin, then wash with water AND then use a regular cleanser after

I decided to give this product a try even after reading the mixed reviews. Unfortunately, I agree with other reviewers that the skin still feels like it has product on it after washing off. Also, it isn’t effective at removing eye makeup. Will not repurchase.

Did not work for me
I had high hopes for this product, but it’s quite disappointing. It’s extremely thick to apply, and once you add water, it feels like you’re spreading wet vaseline, making it nearly impossible to wash off. Even after washing it off, my mascara is still smudged all over my eyes, and when I apply toner to my face, there’s still a lot of makeup and dirt left on a cotton round.

It’s a pass for me
I agree with other reviewers that needs to be reformulated. It’s thick and really tuggs at the skin instead of melting, which makes it hard to spread and work into the skin and eye makeup. Will not repurchase.
