Ick. Can't explain enough how much I'll pay for clips on Amazon versus this brand. Met a girl from this company in New York and she was awful... so rude and spoke so poorly of others. Would not support this company solely because of her.

Broken Teeth (See Photo Attached)
I am heartbroken and devastated because my Sephora x Chunks exclusive claw broke many teeth after I accidentally stepped on it. Chunks has many videos stepping on their claw without breaking but I would never purposely step on it. It’s irreplaceable and I spent 500 Beauty Inside points on them.
I have a large Chunks collection but in the past year, I slowly stopped purchasing them. I’ve had at least 10 items damaged. While I still believe they are better than the hair accessories you can purchase at Target/Walmart/Amazon, it’s more heartbreaking when a $20 Chunks hair accessory breaks than a $2 that’s most likely replaceable.

It’s hard to pick a favorite chunk!
Although I own many of the Chunks hair clips, the checker claw was a first favorite! It holds my hair securely without giving me a headache, there are many times I will lay down for bed and forget to take my hair down. So listen, you've seen this checkered claw or a variation of it everywhere: I am here to tell you this one by Chunks is the OG. This original design by Chunks founder and designer Tiffany Ju has been copycatted time and time again with cheapo "dupes" sold on Amazon, Etsy, etc. by drop shippers. Don't buy those; buy this one. Tiffany and her team work closely with their product manufacturers to ensure their claws are strong, sturdy, and work for all hair textures and lengths. You don't get that care and quality from the copycats. Buy this and feel good knowing you're getting a cute and well-made product AND supporting a WoC-owned small business. No regrets!

I LOVE all my chunks claws. i bought this one a few years ago and still wear it regularly. after dropping it several times without a scratch, i was converted and have become a bit of a collector. all their products are high quality and gorgeous. worth every penny. the pattern doesn’t chip away like other claws that are only painted because the pattern is in the material.

Worth every penny!
Chunks are worth every penny. Truly! It may seem like a big chunk of change (see what I did there) to drop on a hair clip but I can confidently say, I’ve had this clip and others for 4+ years and they are all still perfectly functional. Every other clip I’ve had, broken within a day, a week, a month, a year. So why buy and replace competitors that are “cheaper” over and over when you can just buy one?! Buying Chunks is like buying solid 14k gold vs gold plated.

I love this checker clip SO much, it is a classic staple that I was always so proud to wear. Chunks is a small business and have pioneered a lot of the trendy hair clip designs that now exist today in my opinion. You should support them and not buy cheaper knockoffs!!
