A must have for brides who love pinks

As a bridal makeup artist, I reach for this palette constantly. The cool-toned shades are incredibly flattering and make it so easy to create soft, timeless looks that photograph beautifully. The mattes blend effortlessly, build without getting patchy, and have excellent pigment. I especially love using this palette for brides who want an elegant, romantic eye or anyone with cooler undertones. It has become a staple in my professional kit because the tones work on such a wide variety of clients, and the quality is exactly what I expect from Huda Beauty. If you love a flawless matte eye, this palette is absolutely worth it!

Looks can be deceiving

I was excited to receive this palette as a gift because the colors appear as soft neutrals and velvet in texture. However, this palette is anything but. The colors when applied are drastically different than how they appear. They are mostly an unflattering pink with subtle if any differences between them. It’s strange. As many reviews suggest they have the tendency to make my eyes look swollen or allergic. The texture is also dry and sandy-like. I’m trying to work with this palette using the darkest shade as a base as that seems to be the only one not “pink infected”. I use the other colors loosely to blend. The only positive I can say is that it’s fairly pigmented and that may not be a good thing considering the colors are so off.

Very disappointed with this eyeshadow. The pigmentation is extremely weak and barely shows up on my eyelids. It blends poorly and fades within a short time. For this price, the quality is unacceptable. I would not recommend this product at all.

Too much kickback!

The formula is a mess. There’s so much kickback every time I dip my brush into the pan, and it gets everywhere. It's extremely powdery and the quality just isn't there. Honestly, it’s a struggle to use and not worth the hassle

Waste of money

I was really disappointed with this palette. The pigmentation is very weak, even when applied with a dense brush or built up in layers. The shadows apply patchy and don’t show up well on the skin. For the price point, I expected much better quality. Unfortunately, it’s not worth the money.

Suggested Usage:
-Build your base with cream-to-powder shadows, using your fingers.
-Pick up powder shadows with a dense, flat brush for a fully pigmented payoff, or use a fluffy brush for a blended-out, smoky look.
-For daytime, build a light base across eyelids with a flat, stiff brush and blend medium tones with a fluffier brush to define.

For deeper shades:
-Blend with a brush for a smooth finish in creases and across lids.
-Not all deep shades have to be bold and graphic. Blend out with a fluffy brush to softly define and shape eyes.
-Apply with a small, precise brush to deepen creases and outer corners.
-Apply with a small, angled brush to line top and bottom lash lines.

For lighter shades:
-Apply with a flat brush to highlight center of eyelids.

For cream-to-powder shades:
-Apply and blend with your fingers.
-Use a flat brush to create a cut crease.
-For intense color payoff, use as a base under powder shadows.
