Smells like holiday, no chocolate
I am not happy with this order. It doesn't smell like chocolate to me like it does to my partner. Instead I smell 90s incense which I did enjoy a great deal when I was younger. It's strong and more of a holiday scent but not an everyday sent.
The reason for the low review is I think I got a faulty box. The box looked like a sticker was ripped off. When I sprayed the scent the scent ran down my fingers down my hand and arm. The perfume wasn't secured in the packaging place holder.
Upside the scent is so strong that even after washing my hands multiple times I still smell that holiday incense scent.
I will still be returning this bottle because for how expensive it is the bottle should work correctly.

The real-deal dark chocolate opening was AMAZING! Then oud showed up and, for 1-3 minutes, battled dark chocolate for dominance. When the fighting settled, both parties signed an “equal share” peace treaty and welcomed hazelnut to join their alliance, along with orris and sandlewood. After The Great Cacao-Oud War, the overall scent grew warmer and warmer on my wrist until the drydown, which included all those scent notes I mentioned plus some unobtrusive musk. Pretty sure that last note’s responsible for the warming. This oud’s kept just shy of animalic and prevents Lust Oud Delice from smelling like straight-up Nutella. Projection and longevity are good: for me, a single spray is enough for delicious all day wear.

Suggested Usage: -Fragrance is intensified by the warmth of your own body. Apply in the creases of your knees and elbows for a longer-lasting, stronger scent. -After applying, avoid rubbing or dabbing skin. This breaks down the fragrance, causing it to wear off more quickly. -If you prefer placing fragrance on your wrists, be sure to reapply after frequent handwashing, as this tends to rinse off the scent. -Replace fragrance after 12 months. Expired perfumes more than a year old lose the integrity of the original scent.
