This is the first self tanner in awhile that I truly feel is doing something innovative. For reference over the years I’ve used: St Tropez, Loving Tan, Coco & Eve, Lux Ulfiltered, Isle of Paradise +more. What I love most about this tanner is the lack of a strong smell and lack of a sticky feeling. I’m super pale and the color looks very natural. I use a thick tanning mitt from isle of paradise to apply, following all the self tanner protocols- lotion on the feet, hands, and elbows. I also use a brush to blend around these areas. As some have mentioned this does dry fast (a benefit) so the first use there was a slight learning curve. I apply a few pumps direct to the mitt and swirl around a lot. I have not had issues with patchiness or unevenness. My note is that the medium to dark looks a lot darker when it goes on but washes off lighter. I don’t mind this because it looks natural on me but something to note.

Don’t waste your money!
I’m a self tanner snob so when i say its meh at most, i mean it. I got it on sale a bit ago & just finished the whole bottle. I love the color, it’s not orange at all! BUT- it dries very quickly which i dislike, it’s splotchy, (even when exfoliating the day before!) It clings onto dry patches and it’s almost $50!? The only pro about it is the color. everything else sucks.

Radiant Bronze
After eight years in the beauty industry, I’ve tested enough self‑tanners to know within seconds whether a formula is going to be a hit or a headache. The Dolce Glow Lusso Self‑Tanning Mousse immediately stood out not because it’s trendy, but because it performs like a product created by someone who actually understands skin. The texture is lightweight, airy, and blends effortlessly. I’m picky about mousses that dry too fast or cling to dry patches, and this one gives me the perfect amount of playtime. It smooths over the skin evenly, doesn’t drag, and doesn’t leave that tacky film that makes you feel like you can’t sit down. The color payoff is where it really shines. It develops into a warm, believable bronze not orange, not muddy, and not that dull “spray‑tan beige.” It looks like a natural, sun‑kissed glow you’d get after a weekend outdoors (minus the Florida UV damage). The undertone is flattering, the finish is even, and the fade is surprisingly graceful. No patchy ankles, no weird snake‑skin texture, no scrubbing for dear life on day four. If you want a self tanner that’s beginner‑friendly, blends like a dream, and gives you a smooth, radiant bronze that looks professionally done, Lusso is absolutely worth adding to your routine.

Dolce Glow New Favorite!
I tried their dark tanning mousse express and loved it but this might be my new fav! Has a green hue to it so leaves your skin the perfect bronze golden glow. I also have slept in it with white sheets and no transfer. Just allow adequate time to dry before!

This is LITERALLY the worst self tanner I’ve ever put on and I cannot believe anyone would recommend this. I’m so mad that I spent 100$ on the worst self tanner brand I have ever used. I’m disgusted with the recommendation from a

The only self-tanner I will ever use!
Im so glad they sell this at Sephora now. I tried this self tanner last year when i was testing a bunch of them for a bridesmaids dress i was going to wear. I am very very fair but live in Florida so slather with SPF all the time. This is the most natural looking, the easiest to apply, and longest lasting. I use a mit and a back applicator. It looks splotchy when it dries but once you shower it looks amazing! Ive never had a problem with it and I've used all the self tanners.

The most natural looking fake tan
I’ve tried a lot of self tanners. I’m exceedingly pale but went to college in the Deep South, so I was constantly trying to find the best self tanning product. In terms of color, this is hands down the best. It leaves me with the most natural looking tan. Like I just stepped off the beach. natural

Bought w/own $$$…great for fair and 🫒 girlies!
I am very fair olive undertone/warm overtone, normally tanners, bronzers, everything goes orange on me and I have to be super careful. I love that this is 🫒 toned! It sets fast and looks kinda blotchy and crazy going on, but you are supposed to wash it off! So if you follow the instructions it turns out natural and beautiful imo. Will repurchase!
