Applying MAC's lip liner is simple and accurate because of its silky consistency, which moves easily over the lips. When I received the shade Ribbon, I was pleasantly surprised to see how well it complemented my lips. Really a lipgloss pen

For those who prefer high shine, I recommend the MAC Cosmetics Lipglazer in shade açaí. The Lipglazer is very pigmented and applies easily. The reddish brown color of açaí complements my skin tone, though I would prefer a slightly darker shade. Instead of a regular liner, I believe I would apply this like lip gloss. Convenient but not vibrant!

I initially got this because I love the color Root For Me but don’t like having to sharpen the pencil. I’m able to create my usual lip combo but I find that the liner is not as pigmented as the matte version. Overall I would purchase it again because of the convenience but I am still disappointed with the color payoff.
