The best black eyeliner I have ever used. It doesn’t smudge or budge no matter how long your day is. Unlike other waterproof liners, this one doesn’t bother my eyes at all. Wish it wasn’t this expensive but it’s absolutely stunning. The only drawback is that it’s very creamy and hence, it does need repeated sharpening and will not last that long but it’s a necessary evil for such an amazing liner.

I am not good at applying eyeliner and my eyes are aging so smudging is a thing. I got shades 1, 2 and 9 and can't believe how nice they apply and how long wearing these are. Shade 9 looks very natural in the waterline because its not stark white like others I've tried. There is enough time to apply and smudge if I want to but after that it stays exactly where I leave it until removed with makeup remover at night. Shade 2 is unbelievably beautiful. I am a makeup hound and have tried so many eyeliners. This color is unique and stunning! Shade 1 is very black, like blue black. These are pricey but they are also very long pencils so they will last a long time. I have zero regrets on paying so much for these and hope they never get discontinued.

I had purchased the silver previously and wanted a lighter colour to line my bottom inner rim. This is a stunning colour that isn’t too harsh and lasts all day.

In my never-ending quest to dupe my fave discontinued bronze liner (R.I.P UD Scorch!), I purchased this at full price with my own money. I love the innovative brush on the end, and the application was dreamy...at first. But While this would glide on smoothly at first, the metallic sheen disappears when you try to blend it out, leaving a sort of muddy taupe color. I would then have to reapply over that to bring back the metallic bronze color. Weird. But after about a month in my stash, it really went bad. The liner dries out and forms a skin, so now it doesn't glide or even apply unless I sharpen it. But even when sharpened, it tugs and leaves little crumbs of liner on my skin and in my lashes. The liner itself appears to have shrunken and is loose inside the pencil, so it wiggles around as you apply. Today I tried to make it work again and between the muddy color, the balling up into crumbs instead of blending out, then leaving streaks around my eyes as I tried to brush away the crumbs, I gave up and THREW THIS IN THE TRASH. Huge disappointment for YSL.
