While the scent is pleasant enough—sweet, fruity, tropical—the bottle is the main reason I was drawn to this product, and it ultimately falls short. Having seen it in-store, the packaging looks nothing like what is advertised online. It comes across as a plastic, toy-like version of the images used in marketing, especially the larger sizes. My first impression is that it has a distinctly “Playmobil” effect—like those dollhouse-style plastic recreations meant for children, where everything is smooth, simplified, and slightly hollow-looking—rather than something refined. There’s a noticeable lack of detail in the wings, and the colour has none of the expected dimension or gradation. What appears online as a blend of red and pink (or fuchsia and deep ruby shadows, depending on the light) is, in reality, a single tone. The overall effect looks cheap, mattified, lusterless (dull) and poorly executed. The photos online sell an iridescent, butterfly-like finish—something exotic and almost alive. I was crestfallen to find there is no colour shift or variation whatsoever—just a flat surface that looks nothing like what’s advertised. If you’re expecting that light-catching, multi-tonal effect, this is a complete miss. For a product priced over $200, it’s difficult to justify—especially if the bottle is meant to function as a display piece. Instead of feeling luxurious, it’s almost embarrassing to have out. It doesn’t even register as glass; the finish feels plasticky, reminiscent of something you’d expect from a toy brand like Mattel or Hasbro rather than a high-end fragrance. It’s giving Claire’s, not luxury. Also, not that my boyfriend’s opinion matters or influences my product choices (I’ll buy what I want) his reaction has resonated with me. Over time, I’ve realized he wasn’t entirely wrong: the scent reads as more chemical and over-processed than natural. For the price, I’d expect an elevated and intentional finish. Something with nuance, sophistication, and polish

Absolutely obsessed with all my CH fragrances! La Bomba is in my top 3 favs! It boosts my mood immediately & has such a fun and fruity vibe! I get so many compliments & it lasts so long!

Love the initial scent, the dry down is nice, but it dissappears in about an hour, hour and a half, even if I spray my clothes.

This is SO good that while I was in a crowd of people in 80+ degrees weather at Chicago pride my boyfriend only smelled my perfume and literally said it “smelled so good” around us… Its so yummy, juicy, fruity and floral! Its refreshing and perfect for the summer!

I’m very happy with this perfume and when I’m done with this 10ml I’ll get a bigger bottle, great Sillage and longevity!

Bought this last year in Paris (wasn’t available in North America yet) and it’s still my fav scent in a while. It’s juicy! I get compliments on it every time I’m out! If you liked Prada Candy (hot pink stripe on the bottle) or Juicy Couture’s Viva La Juicy you’ll love this! Just bought my second bottle 😍

I wanted to love this one because I am a fan of Very Good Girl by CH. La Bomba is extremely strong and too masculine.

I normally hate floral perfumes I tried this in store today and I am so in love with it. I think its a beautiful feminine scent will definitely be scooping this beauty up for sure

I love Good Girl Blush, but La Bomba was a miss for me. It’s a musty fruity smell, like you had on a nice tropical body spray then were sweating at beach all day!
