The Worst Thing You Could Do For Your Hair

I usually have very soft, shiny hair though I do struggle with keeping it hydrated over the course my routine, so I thought I would treat myself to a hair mask. I saw that this was a surfer-ish company and considering how much I love SunBum I thought I would give it a chance. I mean it is in Sephora so it has to be better quality right? NOPE! My hair is like plastic straw right now and I have all of these little knots at the base of my neck that I cannot untangle. I have had to cut SEVEN knots out of my hair! Seven! I don't know what everyone else is doing to make this work but buyer beware! I wish I could return it but I don't have a location near me so this will just end up in the trash alongside the leave in.

Made my curls super soft!

I love the scent of this mask and it leaves my curls very soft and unfrizzy when I let them air dry. The product is thick, so a little bit can go a long way and the bottle can last for awhile, even if you use it multiple times a week. My only issue is not with the product, but with the packaging: On my second use, the top seam of the squeeze bottle exploded open, so I had to dispense the rest of the bottle out of the top, ripped seam every time I used it. Not worth taking a star away, though, because the mask itself was wonderful and I plan on repurchasing it when it runs out!

Treat yourself

I love this mask. I have a weekly ritual where I take a bath (or 2-3), wash my hair using the Ebb detangling shampoo. Then put this in. Let it sit for the recommended time. Relax, watch something, then wash it out. My hair is shinier, less frizzy, and detangled not just after my bath but for the week. It keeps it up. I love it.
