received this product for free to review, and it has quickly become a staple in my daily routine. Finding a primer with SPF 40 that doesn't feel heavy or leave a white cast on deeper skin tones can be tricky, but this one nailed it! It gives my skin such a healthy, hydrated base without feeling greasy, and my makeup applies smoothly over top. I love that it gives a subtle glow while protecting my skin all day. I love it!

Really felt like it blurred my pores, too scented

I felt like this primer REALLY blurred my pores and I love that it has SPF 40 in it as well! As with all the Ogee products I’ve tried my only complaint is the extremely heavy scent. I have very sensitive skin and the heavy scents usually cause me to break out. I noticed minimal, but sometimes breakouts from using the primer for about 2 weeks. I also noticed that it left my skin slightly oily for a bit after applying it, so I had to wait longer to apply my makeup. I think I might use it only for special occasions because I do feel like the skin blurring is worth it!

Refreshing light formula☀️

Love for the summer

A great multipurpose primer that I use everyday under my makeup. Had no white cast when used and didn’t disturb my makeup as I applied. Did leave my skin a little oily immediately after application, but just rubbed it in well and waited a minute prior to applying my makeup. Great for summertime use!!

So lightweight!

Okay, this is one of those products that quietly became a staple in my routine, I’ve been using the OGEE Skin Enhancing Primer SPF 40, and honestly, most days I use it as my sunscreen and skip makeup altogether. It’s so lightweight and feels much more like a skincare-sunscreen hybrid than an actual makeup primer. It blends into my skin beautifully, gives me a healthy, natural glow, and never feels heavy or silicone-y. On no-makeup days, it’s perfect on its own because it just makes my skin look fresh and hydrated.nAnd if I do wear makeup? It sits SO nicely underneath everything. Foundation glides on smoothly, nothing pills, and my makeup wears beautifully throughout the day. Also, I absolutely love the subtle fragrance. It gives the product such a luxurious, spa-like feel without being overpowering.

Too greasy for me

This product was not very agreeable to my skin type. It felt oily and heavy and I was very aware that it was on my skin when using it. It doesn’t look as oily as it feels, but I couldn’t really get past it. It’s probably more suitable for dry skin types, but I also found that my makeup would pill and smudge if I used it, so I’m not sure how effective it is as a primer.
