This cream was gifted to me by a friend after sitting on my wishlist for a while. I was excited to try it and really appreciated the beautiful packaging. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended for me.
It did absolutely NOTHING for my skin. I have normal skin and didn’t notice any real hydration or nourishment - certainly nothing that would justify the price. It felt comparable to a basic drugstore moisturizer with similar results.
The texture is lightweight, so it might work better for oily skin, but for me, it had no effect at all. I finished the bottle, but if it hadn’t been a gift, I would have returned it. Overall, very disappointing.

Great for combo skin in warmer months only
I have combination skin, with the normal areas skewing a bit dry in fall/winter. This happens to be when I tried this moisturizer. It’s light and has a pleasant scent. I found it provides adequate moisture to my T zone and and checks, but left some areas feeling tight—I had to add a heavier moisturizer. I would only use this in the late spring-summer months, so it doesn’t live up to my expectations at this time.

Has a potential allergen in it
Started using this and after a few days started getting an allergic reaction. Bright red, raw, bumpy and extremely itchy skin. Not fun. Scanned the barcode with my Yuka app and it shows it has a potential allergen in it. I wanted this to be my new face lotion because i love the vitamin C glow drops but this stuff along with the face wash has chemicals in it that can be potentially cause allergic reactions. And I was one of the lucky ones who had that happen. :(
I wish these companies would stop using chemicals that are harmful to us. I am returning this product along with the face wash and switching back to Clinique face lotion because I never had issues with that. Below I attached the screen shots of the chemical thats in this product that I suspect my allergic reaction.

Perfect and luxurious daily moisturizer!
This light weight moisturizer quickly sinks into my skin instead of sitting on top like heavier creams do. It's firming and hydrating, and it smells lovely! Saint Jane's clean products perform as promised for me. On my second bottle!

this is a great product. it doesn't seem to have much of a following, but it hydrates my sensitive skin well and absorbs quickly. I don't know if it has any fragrance, but it doesn't smell bad, which is also a plus.

This is a lovely cream, feels wonderful going on, not sticky or tacky just moisturizing. I have celiac disease and just realized that yeast extract is a potential source of gluten from the barley. So disappointing.

Best for oily skin
3.5 Stars. I have normal skin that tends to be a little on the dry side now that I’m in my mid 30’s. The Petal Cream sinks in fast, without leaving a sheen on skin and is a light moisturizer with amazing ingredients, but it’s not quite moisturizing enough for me. I would have to layer it with oil, but for the price, I’m going to use something else. I would recommend this for oilier skin types.

This moisturizer is unfortunately a waste of money. It comes in elegant packaging but it doesn't moisturize at all. In fact, it is very drying. My combination skin feels desiccated not long after application. Shame - for the price, I expected better.
