I’ve been using this for a few months and I love it. I am 51, so mature-ish skin that is just starting to worry about brown spots and the need for SPF every day (late to the party, I know). This is a fantastic base for makeup and an excellent SPF.

Wouldn’t purchase

It’s just okay. It’s a bit shiny, not very hydrating. Like other ABH face products, it’s a bit too fragranced for me. Literally the fragrance bothers my eyes (ironically not the sunscreen). Like others have said, there are so many options out there.

Not for sensitive skin, not great under makeup

My skin did not like this at all! The texture and formula felt nice, the scent was nice but not overpowering but I found that no matter what foundation I used my base was patchy and separated. My face was red andd inflamed after a few days of use.

Good but overpriced for the quantity.

I like how smoothly Hydra Prime Face Primer goes on. Like that it has SPF. so when I don't where my SPF foundation, I still have protection. Has a scent, which is ok. I'm not sure how much it helps me as a primer; I have experimented w/waiting 3-5 min before applying foundation and waiting 10-15 min to apply foundation. And with both, I've had times when the foundation looks cakey upon application. I find no difference than when I use Maybelline Facestudio Master Prime Primer Makeup, Blur and Pore Minimize (no SPF) which costs $10 for 1oz. Anastasia is $48 for 1.45oz (at the time of this review).
