Personally, I found these bars too intense for my skin — the exfoliation felt more abrasive than soothing. My skin actually felt a little irritated afterward instead of smooth. I think it's the texture of the bar itself; it's coarser than most exfoliating bars I've tried, so it really scrubs rather than gently buffs. If you love a rough, heavy-duty buff, this could be perfect for you — especially if you're dealing with rough patches on elbows or feet. For me, though, it just wasn't a match.
