Needed to find a replacement for the discontinued Tatcha Deep Cleanse. This stuff isn't a dupe - it's BETTER! Only a small amount and it lathers like crazy - creamy enough to really pull the dirt out of the pores. Exfoliating scrub feels like it wipes everything off your face, but gentle enough to feel safe to use every day. Scent is so refreshing and CLEAN! I was really not a fan of this “scrub cleanser”… there’s a reason only just over 300 of its 2000 reviews are non-incentivized! (I HATE that Sephora does this, it’s gotten out of hand and I can’t trust any of the actual star ratings). I liked the smell of this cleanser but that was about it. The micro beads were super soft and I didn’t really feel like it “scrubbed” at all, nor did I witness any brightening of my skin. It’s also very overpriced for what it is.. it’s currently $39 CAD. I get better results from St. Ives new brightening scrub which is only $5 (similar to the apricot scrub that’s been around for ages but this one is called pink lemon & mandarin and it’s a brightening one).

It’s a gloppy soap with suspended bits that don’t feel “scrubby” at all. Think this will be the first time I return something to Sephora. Not at all as described.

It’s been a staple in my skin care routine
I have extremely sensitive skin and really love this product. It smells soo good and my skin really likes it, I’ve repurchased it sooo many time. However, it doesn’t do much for exfoliating and I know there’s definitely a better product out there that’s more hydrating but I really do like this and am too spooked to try out another as my skin likes this one aha. And again as someone with sensitive skin it’s hard to find products that work well and don’t make my skin burn or go all red.
I received a different looking bottle with the same name. it's fresh smelling and feels great on my skin but for exfoliating, I don't think it gets the job done. it mostly pulls all the moisture from my face.
