Opposite of Volumizing

Definitely not for fine hair. Hair was weighted down after using this product and couldn't be styled. It was the complete opposite of volumizing.

LOVE! and I have long fine wavy hair

I have long fine wavy hair. I have been using the living proof volumizing shampoo and conditioner going on 3 years and I love it. I blow dry my hair after washing and conditioning and I can go up to 2 to 3 days without having to wash my hair. My hair has always been oily and this has been a game changer for me. It doesn’t take a lot of product so don't overdo it.

Don’t buy if have oily scalp and/or dry ends

Was recommended this product by a Sephora employee, claiming it would help my oily scalp and my dry ends. It did the exact OPPOSITE! My hair is as dry as ever and my hair gets oily after day 2.

The 5 star reviews must all be incentivized because this product is terrible!! My hair is so dry and it takes forever to brush my hair after the shower because it gets so knotty. Horrible!!! My hair also rips out in chunks when brushing

Itchy scalp

Maybe bc ive been using their hair oil, but it wont lather. Also, my scalp is increasingly itchy. Im guessing this doesnt clean enough. I test shampoos on my skin and this is one of the only ones that doesnt leave my skin flaky, so it does seem to be hydrating….though i keep having to use hair oil. Maybe their hair oil is no good too? I like their hair spray

Better for body

I have very fine straight hair so getting volume is always a challenge. I only use sulfate free shampoo. For volume this is the best shampoo I’ve ever tried. I’m finding out that the living proof brand really works for me. I don’t use conditioner though because then it weighs my hair down. I just use some hair oil on the ends and a very small amount of the styling cream before I style. The living proof mousse holds better than most as well.
