I have acne-prone, combination skin and a medium skin tone. This serum is packaged in a uniquely shaped, slender tube made out of hard plastic, and the shape is ergonomic for use with one hand. The tube is secured with a lid that screws on and off with a few twists. One of my main criticisms of this product is the mechanism for dispensing. While it is straightforward to squeeze, it is prone to over-dispensing. With this serum, a little goes a long way, so you only need a pea-sized amount. Beyond the packaging, the serum has a mild ginseng scent that I am indifferent to. The gel spreads easily and hydrates the skin, but even with daily usage, I do not notice any visible differences with my eyes. I would only recommend this product for individuals who are interested in a dedicated eye product that may modestly support skin health and provide minute anti-aging benefits. Otherwise, I would not invest in this product.

I’ve been using Sulwhasoo First Care Activating Eye Serum for several weeks and I’m genuinely impressed. The lightweight formula absorbs quickly without feeling greasy, and the cooling ceramic applicator feels incredibly soothing on tired eyes. My under-eye area looks brighter, smoother, and less puffy, especially in the mornings. It layers well under makeup and other skincare products. While it’s definitely a luxury splurge, a little goes a long way and the results make it feel worth it.

I wish I would have taken a before picture. This is the first eye product that has given me any results and it was very noticeable. I've only been using the serum for a week and my dark circles, redness, puffiness are all gone. I've never had skincare make such a dramatic difference besides retinol treatments. I'll be repurchasing for the rest of my life.

I’ve been using the Sulwhasoo First Care Activating Eye Serum for a few weeks now, and it honestly feels more like a skincare treatment than a basic eye cream. The texture is lightweight and silky, so it absorbs quickly without leaving that heavy or greasy feeling under the eyes. It layers beautifully under makeup and doesn’t pill at all, which is a huge plus for me. What stood out most was how hydrated and smoother my under-eye area started looking. My concealer has been sitting better, and my eyes look more awake and less tired overall. It gives a really healthy, refreshed look without irritation, even on sensitive skin days. The only downside is definitely the price. It’s a luxury product, and you’re paying for the experience as much as the formula. But if you enjoy high-end skincare and want something that feels effective, elegant, and genuinely nourishing, I do think it’s worth trying — especially if your under-eyes tend to look dry, dull, or fatigued.

I've been in the beauty industry for over 20 years as a licensed cosmetologist, esthetician and professional makeup artist. I also currently work for 3 major skincare and makeup brands carried at sephora and ulta and have unlimited access to alot of products but Sulwhasoo remains at the top of my favorites list. This was my first experience using any of their eye products and it definitely did not disappoint. The First Care Activating Eye Serum is literally the eye version of their First Care Activating Serum which is one of my all time favorite products so to have the opportunity to try the eye serum made my day!! Sulwhasoo products have a way of taking you to this serene place when applying, the subtle scent reminds me of something you could only experience in a top notch luxury spa but it's not a forced fragrance, you can tell it's a natural fragrance that comes from the ingredients and not added fragrance which I love. It also feels incredibly soothing as soon as you apply it and continues to feel that way until it's completely absorbed. It definitely increases hydration around the eye area and helps your other eye products absorb better leaving the eye area perfectly prepped for any makeup application. I really can't say enough about any of the Sulwhasoo line and I constantly recommend it to friends, customers, clients and family.. I was given this product in exchange for my honest review 😊

A very kind lady showed this product to me to use under my Kosas concealer unfortunately, this has caused a lot of irritation and milia and only six days. This also has a fragrance which is tolerating at first but seems to be irritating my eyes.

This eye cream has a really nice texture. It’s lightweight, absorbs quickly, and doesn’t leave any greasy feeling or make the skin feel heavy or clogged. One thing I noticed almost immediately is how fast it helps with under-eye puffiness and signs of tiredness — the effect is visible within just a few minutes, especially in the morning. But there are definitely a couple of downsides. First, the applicator is really inconvenient. The cap is hard to open, and sometimes it doesn’t work properly at all, so I end up squeezing the cream onto my hand first and then applying it under my eyes. And even when the applicator works, it doesn’t dispense the product smoothly — it kind of spits the cream out, which makes it hard to control the amount. The second downside is the smell. It has a strong herbal or medicinal scent that I personally didn’t like at all. Also, the cream itself has a yellow-orange color, and sometimes it feels like it slightly changes the color of the skin under my eyes too, although maybe that’s just me noticing it.

I have really enjoyed SULWHASOO products in the past and this was no exception. The scent is very citrus-y and refreshing and I’ve seen quite a difference in the fine lines and darkness of my under-eyes. One thing to note is to be careful when removing the cap and to pop off and not twist as I didn’t notice until a few days after using this product that the applicator had come off in the lid and I was just applying manually with my fingers. The applicator is really nice and cooling and dispenses the perfect amount of product.

This eye serum is amazing, from the formulation down to the packaging mechanism! Using this is truly a luxury experience. The bottle is super convenient, it is not bulky so it can fit perfectly in your purse and overnight bag! The ceramic tip is absolutely wonderful. It is so cooling, it's the most cooling ceramic tip I've ever felt. It's the perfect shape to fit in all of your eye contours and has a great massaging feeling. The serum isn't too thick and it sinks in to the skin all the way during the night instead of just sitting on top. Between the serum and the applicator tip it reduced my eye bags and dark circles by a lot. I also noticed more smoothed skin and brightness around my eyes! It worked a lot faster than I expected, I have to say it is worth every single penny. Don't even hesitate, add it to your cart and buy it immediately! Thank me later!

I really enjoy this eye cream. The ceramic applicator is divine! I've been applying it liberally to my under eye and surrounding area, in the morning I will gently pat it into the skin, for evening skincare I typically just let it sit. I do find that it does a great job moisturizing my under eyes. Just today I had two people who who shocked to find out I was in my thirties because they both said I looked so young, and I definitely think this eye serum was a part of that! Korean skincare remains top tier in my opinion. Photos are before use and after using for 7 days.
