This used to be the absolute BEST deep conditioner for my hair and I finally thought I found something that worked well for my hair. Not for long! I literally only got to use one tub of the good stuff. After dropping another 30 hard-earned dabloons on this, this deep conditioner left my hair feeling the exact same as before. Not a true deep conditioner
I tried this recently after accidentally overproteinating my thick, coarse 3c curls that have color and bleach damage, making them super crunchy, frizzy and dry. Was looking for a protein-free deep moisture conditioner and came across this one.
I've used this several times now, and this could be a decent day to day conditioner--it has helped soften my hair and started to make it more manageable as I lay off the protein. But I wouldn't call it a deep conditioner by any means. I feel like every brand now is like "doesn't overmoisturize!" and folks that is never, ever my problem.
It's not bad, but if you have curly hair with any sort of coarseness or dryness this may not be rich enough for you. Could be an ok daily conditioner if your hair is finer or is in pretty good condition, but I think there are better options for that purpose.
