- Put a quarter-size dollop in your palm (or more if you've got super-long/thick hair), then work it through from mid-section to ends
- Untangle knots with fingertips and massage a small amount into crown near roots (don't glob it on the top, no need)
- Let it soak in for a few minutes and then rinse thoroughly
