I am so disappointed with this product. I used my points to get a kit that included this serum. I used it ONE night and woke up with bumps all over my skin. I am furious; my skin was so smooth and healthy before using this. I had to make an emergency appointment with my dermatologist and I’m now on prescription to get rid of this mess that this product caused. DO NOT BUY THIS. it’s overpriced garbage.

I wish my skin didn't love this serum so much!

This is the best serum I have ever used on my skin hands down! I would give it 5 stars; however it is so pricey that I deducted a star based on cost alone. I purchased the largest size now that the Sephora sale is on. The smell is pleasant, and the texture sinks right into the skin. I find that when I use this, it hydrates my skin all day. My mom has even commented on how nice my skin is looking lately. I wish my skin didn't love this serum, but it is highly effective. If you have been disappointed with other serums before; buy a small bottle to start with. You won't regret it.....although your wallet might.

Skeptic approved, this actually works

This product deserves a review that isn’t incentivized—so here I am being that person. I’ve tried my fair share of “anti-aging” products that make big promises and don’t quite deliver. But this one? It actually works. I’ve genuinely noticed a visible difference in the fine lines on my forehead from using it once nightly (see photo). I’m usually pretty skeptical when it comes to skincare claims. I’ve used a lot of high-end products over the years, and very few have made a noticeable impact. This is the first one that’s given me real, visible results. Honestly, it’s worth a try. Sincerely, someone who paid full price for this lol. P.S. Sulwhasoo… if you happen to see this, I wouldn’t be mad about some free products for continued “research” 😉

luxury serum that's worth it!

Smells great, feels great

This serum is one of the thicker serums I have used, and I absolutely love it. From the smell of ginseng to the way it easily absorbs into my skin, I am obsessed. My skin is naturally very dry, and I have found that this serum restores and puts the hydration back into my skin. With that, I have noticed a decrease in fine lines and wrinkles around my eyes and mouth. This serum has proven that with consistent use, it will help anyone who needs it combat the effects of aging. This serum is well worth the price in my opinion.

Smells so good

Sulwhasoo is a well known Korean skincare brand that’s really rooted in traditional herbal ingredients, especially ginseng. I’ve actually tried quite a few products from the brand over time and I’ve genuinely liked all of them so my expectations were pretty high going into this. The texture is silky and absorbs really easily into my skin without feeling heavy or sticky. It layers well with the rest of my routine and doesn’t pill! I always appreciate that. My skin is really happy with this serum. I can definitely see the hydrating effects. Since the serum has retinol I’ll need to use it longer to see if the anti aging effects work out for me. Remember to use your sunscreen with this serum! The scent is light and slightly herbal which fits the whole ginseng focused concept and smells similar to their other products. It’s not overpowering. The only small downside for me is the packaging. It’s still nice but compared to some of Sulwhasoo’s other products, the component doesn’t feel quite as special as I was expecting. The lid is really light and doesn’t sit tightly. Overall, I’m really happy with this serum and will keep it in my morning skin care routine.

I’m a huge fan of K Beauty products and brands, they tend to be at the forefront of innovation when it comes to new formulas and breakthrough ingredients and Sulwhasoo has been a leader in that sense. To start this formula is full of unique and interesting ingredients that are clinically proven which is a huge part of what I look for when buying beauty products since I want results. The formula of this serum is slick and slightly thick but not too heavy - it absorbs very quickly into my skin and leaves it feeling soft and smooth. I’ve been using it consistently for the last 2 weeks, both morning and before bed and I’m already seeing a reduction in fine lines and an increase in my skin’s overall firmness and elasticity.
