Absolutely love this leave-in. It hydrates my 3C hair super well without weighing it down. I pair it with an argan oil and and it leaves my hair super soft. It's perfect for days I want to straighten my hair and also for when I do braid-outs or twist outs. The only "con" is the size of the bottle. I just wish they came out with a bigger size bottle as I go through it quite easily. Highly recommend!!

I really enjoyed the JVN hair mask when it first came out, so I decided to give another product a try. It’s just okay. No scent. The bottle is sleek and will slip out of your hands. As a curly girl, my hands are always wet/have product on them and I’ve dropped this bottle a couple of times now.

good product bad nozzle

I use this for my night heatless curls and it works decently well, but i notice that the spray is horrible. this is my third bottle and around 3/4 of the way through it consistently stops spraying when i press the nozzle. i usually open it up and use my hands but i personally find this annoyin

Good for fine wavy hair

This works so well on my fine wavy hair. It reduces frizz and keeps it super soft without making my hair greasy or weighing in down. I usually use the ouai spray but when this bottle runs out I might repurchase this instead.

Meh. Bad packaging, goopy output, bad for dry hair

This product is fine, but its marketing and packaging are not great. It says it can be used on dry hair, so I expected a lighter formulation that is more mist-like. It is NOT mist-like at ALL. It comes out pretty goopy actually, which makes it totally unusable on dry hair. Using it on wet hair is fairly effective, but again the fact it comes out very unevenly is really annoying. Additionally, the bottle is so so slippery when its wet that I have to grab it with a towel to use it which is really annoying! I will be going back to bumble and bumble leave-in when this bottle is done!

Eventually it gave our daughter a rash. I tried it and eventually it gave me a rash. It’s not a mist, it’s more of a cream. Love JVN but not this.

Works on the whole family!!

All human members of my house use this, and I started using it on my Shih Tzu’s tail and armpits after bath time. I have no idea if it’s meant to be used on dogs (probably not) but his hair gets significantly less matting between washes. It also means he smells delightful!

My favorite light weight leave-in!

I’ve been using this for about 6 months and it’s the best light-weight leave in. It leaves my hair feeling soft and smooths the frizz. One thing that I don’t care for is the scent. It’s kind of strong, but does wear off.

Not for all hair types.

I have used several products from the JVN line and this one is probably my least favorite. It’s difficult to use less product because the spray comes out rather harshly from the nozzle. And more product is generally required when using this as a detangler. However, it does have a nice smell and works better. If you spray a little on your hands and just kind of work it through dry hair. Will likely not re-purchase.
