I’ve been really enjoying the Vacation Classic Whip Lip Balm SPF 30! It keeps my lips feeling soft, hydrated, and comfortable without that heavy or sticky feeling that some SPF lip balms have. The formula glides on smoothly, leaves a nice glossy finish, and makes my lips look healthy all day.

I’ve been really liking the Vacation Classic Whip Lip SPF 30 Lip Balm. It feels super soft and creamy on my lips without being sticky or heavy. Honestly, I’m disappointed
I was really excited to try this lip balm. The packaging is cool, and the SPF 30 was one of the main reasons I wanted to try it. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. As soon as I opened it, I was surprised by the unusual applicator and the very runny texture. The product easily spreads beyond the lips and quickly ends up in your mouth. It starts with an overly sweet taste, then turns into a bitter sunscreen flavor that lingers. For me, the texture and taste were enough to make this a one-time try. I wouldn’t repurchase or recommend it. The only reason I’m giving it 2 stars is because the packaging design is really cute.

A sunscreen lip balm that works!
This is a must have now in my lake, pool, or beach bag. Even just to go outside, especially during the summer! This lip balm smells so good and works! I used this while out on a boat for almost 6 hours. This was the product I kept applying to ensure my lips would not burn. It worked!

Nice glossy balm
This is the first lip balm I've tried that has sunscreen and as an SPF enthusiast, I can't believe it took me this long. It has the stylish vintage packaging that Vacation is known for and a fun star shaped applicator. The lip balm has the consistency of a lip gloss and also leaves the lip with a nice glossy shine without being too sticky or heavy. It's a milky white color that sheers out into a clear shade on the lips. The coco-vanilla smell and taste make this balm a nice treat for the senses.

super cute but non-practicle packaging
I love vacation products, and the Classic Whip Lip SPF 30 Lip Balm is no exception! the smell isn't overwhelming, the texture is light, and the packaging is super cute! the applicator is like nothing I've ever seen before. while it is cute, I noticed that it is really easy to accidentally squeeze too much product out, and because of this, you definitely get a taste of sunscreen. I've found the best way to do it is by squeezing some onto your finger/ the back of your hand, using your finger to press it in as a regular lip balm applicator would. It helps the balm to fully soak in, and there is way less of a sunscreen taste.

I received this as a part of an educational promotion. I am not a fan of this lip balm because of the heavy sunscreen taste. I would say it feels more like a lip gloss rather than a balm, it does have sunscreen in it which is nice but it is very strong. I think if you don't mind the obvious sunscreen aspect then it would be a good gloss type of lip protection. But if you don't need the spf protection then maybe look into other products.

I LOVE this lip balm! Good SPF lip balms are so hard to find but this might be my favorite so far. The scent is really nice and you really get that whipped scent and taste. It does have a little bit of the sunscreen taste but it’s not bad and I only notice it the second I put it on. It glides on my lips really nicely and has a great glossy shine to it. It feels really hydrating on my lips too! The hydration feels similar to lip oils and it lasts a few hours before I feel the need to reapply. I haven’t noticed my lips getting sunburnt or chap at all since I’ve been using this! It’s so easy to just keep with me all day and reapply whenever I need more sun protection.

I liked the concept of this product and it does smell nice. Living in Texas, where the heat can be intense, I used it throughout the day and found it helped keep my lips from feeling dry or uncomfortable. The formula seemed to provide good moisture and protection, and I noticed my lips stayed hydrated longer than they normally would in hot weather.
The only downside for me was the taste. If any of the product got into my mouth, it left a strong flavor that reminded me of sunscreen, which I did not enjoy. Because of that, I found myself being extra careful during application. Aside from the taste issue, the product performed well and did what it was designed to do. I would recommend it to others who are looking for a moisturizing lip product, but I would suggest being mindful to avoid getting it in your mouth if you are sensitive to taste. Received as a part of an educational promotion.
