I bought this perfume because it was recommended as a similar scent to the original Opium, and although not exactly the same it does have a similar fragrance that is very nice and not too overpowering. I loved it!!

Free Samples With Purchase
I've been ordering Cinnabar for a very long time...years, actually. I always wait until the free samples are offered. I'm very elderly and on a fixed income. Even though my past order qualified I did not receive any.I spoke with a customer service rep but to no avail. Very disappointing.

Revisiting Cinnabar
I haven't worn Cinnabar since my early twenties. I am trying it again, after my go-to perfume of 30+ years was ruined when the parent company apparently outsourced it to a foreign manufacturer, and it now smells like something from a dollar store. Cinnabar is a little sweeter than I remembered. I also felt it didn't have the staying power I hoped for. But it is nice, and it is much better than smelling like bug spray.
