Beautiful Base
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've decided the best way for me to use the cashmere matte eyelights is as a base to which I add a dab of the regular eyelights. Used alone, the matte can make my eyes look a little tired by the end of the day, but as a base it helps control the color of the regular eyelights, helps prevent fading, and evens out the tone of my eyelids. I rotate colors depending on the season and how much extra pop I want.

About the only RMS that doesn’t work.

Love this Eye Shadow!
I do not normally review products, but felt the need to do so here after reading through some of the less favorable reviews. If you are on the fence, try this product! I'm in my 60s and do not normally even wear eye shadow anymore due to lines and colors that don't work for my age. That said, as a brown eyed person, I am in LOVE with the Mountain Mist color! And, I read negative things about the tube, matte finish and application (how the product came out of the tube). I have had no issues and actually enjoy applying this. I put the smallest amount on my hand and then dab the brush into the product there to apply. It is cooling going on and yes, it is Matte and does dry down relatively quickly, but not so quickly that it can't be blended. I also find that a very little goes a long way and it is very buildable.
I'm excited to be wearing a flattering eye shadow again after years of putting it aside!
