too gritty, but okay
Smells great! The exfoliation is a bit harsh and gritty for me. The bar is very hard, and if you scrub too much, it can be irritating. To solve that issue, I put it in a little mesh pouch. this way, the soap foams up and releases the scrubby particles in a more controlled/gentler way. it's good enough that I've almost finished the bar (which has taken like 2 years of occasional use), but I'll try some other exfoliating bar next.

Love this bar!
I used to use exfoliating scrub (the kind in a tube) but I found a bar is so much more both enjoyable and effective. Enjoyable because you can really apply as much (or little) pressure as you'd like on your skin...it feels good/relaxing when using it. And as you can scrub as hard as you'd like, you get a really good result. I enjoy the smell, too (it's a light, fresh scent).

Awesome exfoliation before moisturizing step
Got this because I can’t do sugar scrubs but still wanted the outcome. Just one use and my skin felt brand new! The exfoliant in the bar is fine and not painful—and the bar is huge! Only downside is the bar isn’t moisturizing at all. It left my skin feeling squeaky clean. Was the perfect step before an oil based body wash though! Highly recommend.

This is probably the best exfoliating bar I’ve ever used, it lasts forever and it actually does an amazing job at exfoliating but not being too abrasive. Good for sensitive skin like myself and smells amazing. Was having a hard time finding a dupe before Sephora started carrying it, as it’s a hassle to order it direct from glossier.
