I’ve been testing this primer for about two months now, and I’m really impressed. During the summer, I usually start getting oily around the 6-hour mark, and by 8 hours my makeup can look very shiny. Since using this primer, though, I’ve noticed a big difference. Instead of looking overly oily, my makeup stays looking naturally hydrated, smooth, and much more balanced throughout the day.
I also have larger pores on my nose, and this primer does a great job of prepping my skin, making my foundation apply much more smoothly. It creates a soft, blurred finish without feeling heavy.
I actually haven’t used a primer in about two years, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this one has definitely won me over. My skin is normally combination, but during the summer it leans more oily-combination, and this primer has worked really well for my skin type.

This is so lightweight and perfect for oily skin or acne prone skin!
I have dry skin, so the REFY Blur and Hydrate primer wasn’t the best match for me. It seemed to work better in oilier areas, but wherever the blurring formula wasn’t applied evenly, my makeup didn’t blend right and looked patchy. I tried working with it a few different ways, but it still didn’t sit smoothly on my skin. I can see it working better for someone with oily or combination skin, but it just wasn’t for me.

I really didn’t like this primer. It started pilling right after I applied it, even before putting any makeup on. When I added foundation, it made everything worse, my skin looked patchy, textured, and uneven
. I also tried letting it sit and dry, but it still didn’t help. Overall, it didn’t perform well at all and I wouldn’t recommend it.

Naturally, I was influenced to buy this. I think the product is fine. The applicator is revolutionary. More things should feel this good to put on. Have I noticed that it makes my make last longer? No. Is it hydrating? Yes. Could you just use the moisturizer you already have instead? Yeah, but it wont be as fun to put on.
